Make A Positive Difference 2010
Begin the Year with Acts of Love. Love for our fellow human beings. Love for our environment. Love for God.
Looking back to an article ‘The Road Map for Success’ which was posted on December 12, 2008, it is unbelievable that the year is once again coming to an end. The days went whooshed like it was just yesterday. A lazy thought was on my mind this same moment that maybe I should just ‘recycle’ my article (what with climate change and so forth). ‘The Road Map for Success’ is still relevant and unfortunately I have slackened in posting articles for our readers (with my sincere apologies), what more harm is there in missing another one anyway. Having said this, Henry at Hen Studio is faithfully waiting for me before he starts his magical works on the article so in this case, it does seem like a single stroke of an axe could bring down the oak tree.
However, as we are closing in the year I am reflecting on the efforts, the way we treat ourselves and the people around us. Have we done enough and could we do more for this world whichever parts of the world we live in and for the people whom we care about. For me, this journey has no end.
We are who we are and where we are from the choices and decisions we make which shape the circumstances of our life. Our choices and decisions are purposeful and deliberate epitomizing our values and beliefs as a person. Our efforts are ambitious and accountable inciting consciousness and continuous improvements in all that we do.
We will have a better chance of success in making the positive differences we wish for in the coming year when we have a lighthouse to steer us through challenging and stressful paths – the lighthouse of love.

The meaning of love is being interpreted in various ways by different cultures, languages and characteristics of people all over the world. Love is the fundamental principle for being able to truly make a positive difference in the New Year and foremost it starts with love for your own self. Love for your self should be with abundance and radiance like a halo which revolves, motivates and urges you forward to make the differences for yourself and the people around you.
So begin the year with acts of Love. As written in 1 Corinthians 13 “1If I speak in the tongues] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing”
I resolve to make 2010 an unprecedented year of great achievements nourished with gratitude, passion and love.
